A Couple of Kids Who Fell in Love

Our love story began in Minnesota at a lively party. As the night drew on, we found ourselves drawn to each other, our conversation flowing easily until the early hours. At the end of the night, we exchanged hugs, Facebook details and the promise to keep in touch. Adam, ignoring the typical three-day waiting period, reached out the very next day.

Our friendship blossomed over the next two years, a mix of online chats and phone calls keeping us close despite the distance. Then, after those two years, Amy made the decision to visit Adam in Las Vegas. It felt like no time had passed at all - our connection was as strong as ever.

In 2017, Amy took the leap and moved to Las Vegas. We spent three more years falling in love amidst the city lights, before deciding to take our relationship to Ohio. Packing up a truck, we drove across states, embarking on an adventure together.

Moving from desert to grasslands was a bit of a change, but we soon settled into our new routine in Ohio. Then came a day we’ll never forget - November 16, 2022.

We've always enjoyed photography and geocaching, so we decided to spend that beautiful fall morning snapping pictures and going on a scavenger hunt around the Ohio State campus. As we stood in “The Oval”, a stunning area full of trees and fallen leaves, Adam guided Amy to a landmark for her first clue. Inside a viewfinder, he had placed pictures of us from the very beginning. As Amy was looking through them, Adam got down on one knee and proposed with the most beautiful ring Amy had ever seen. Those four magical words, "Will You Marry Me," have brought us to where we are today, ready to start the rest of our lives together.
